The dowdy outside of the hotel is deceptive. Inside it is spacious, modern and very pleasant. It has places to work near the bar and restaurant. It also has a gated car park. It is outside of town so there is not much of interest nearby but if you are stopping off for a night for example it is an excellent choice. If you have time and are interested there are some very interesting things to see in Compiègne including the museum and monument of the 1918 and 1940 armistices and the former Nazi internment and deportation camp.

We had a warm welcome upon arrival around midnight, the sleeping cod for our toddler was allready in our room, so we could go straight to bed after arriving in our room. The room was quiet. The breakfast had plenty for us. And the car was parked behind a gate.

The house was really amazing! Better than expected. It is decorated with a lot of attention for detail and the house was super clean/tidy. We felt immediately at home. Also the hostess was very friendly and helped us with all kinds of information. Thank you Christine!
